it's savior complex + covert narcissistic projection + parasocial munchausen's by proxy and when they inevitably feel betrayed by their idol who they put on a dehumanizingly high pedestal they are the absolute worst anti to have. i cant stand miserable fans who act like martyrs 24/7 and spend all their energy 'saving' their idol (translation: busybodying with pointless hashtags and harrassing confused group stans lol) bc so many of them get resentful due to the futility of their squabbles and then feel entitled to something bc of it when really the idol never asked them to do all that, in fact depending on the circumstances it probably just embarrasses them.
The resentment they have for their biases afterwards is always theee nastiest it's crazy the predictable cycle is so funny to watch
