Not to pity jiwoong here but that fan thinks theyre doing him a favor and justifies themselves by citing their care for him when really what they want is their own secondhand pain validated. So they're imposing onto him their rigid idea of vulnerability and see his lack of it as him doing himself (and them) a disservice, which is honestly pretty unempathetic. And theres something cynical about their read of the situation too they might not realize it but the fact that they are desperately wishing for him to prostrate himself for pity so both he and his fans could reap it together shows they see emotion as an opportunity for manipulation and vindication rather than something spontaneous and healing. and though they claim not to they absolutely do view people like gw or even other members who are emotionally forthcoming as manipulative as a way to cope with jiwoong's inability or unwillingness to be so in a way that validates them too.
