🍚 OT7 stans bother me not just because they are annoying and fill up almost every comment section but because they fail to recognize the person they are begging for is a frat boy. His scandal isn’t the virtuous “Idols should be allowed to date predebut!!!” Issue they are trying to make it out to be; that’s a gross sanitization of it. The issue was that he 1. Shared confidential SM choreography to his friends 2. Took photos of a girl kissing him in a motel and shared it with his friends (who knows if she consented to that, also she wasn’t the one who took the photo) 3. Made all these dumb decisions knowing he was in SM (like how stupid do you have to be to do these things in active public, like smoking outside (smoking is gross to begin with) and leaving a trail of photos that incriminate you). Take away his looks and he’s just someone who broke trainee contract stipulations, likely shared nonconsented photos, and acted stupidly. Hell, I’d kick him out asap if I was a company too, talk about a liability. AND the person has more dirt on him too, the person leaking the info literally threatened to release more if SM didn’t do something, hence why he’s gone rn. Who knows what else he’s hiding.
