Megaquake is weird cuz there's no definite date like August 21 or something, scientist just know it's gonna happen but dunno when so it could be tmrw, next week, next month, next year or next decade we just don't know but just know it's gonna big big and that's just unnecessary anxiety if I were Japanese 😠like damn living in fear for who knows how long until it happens

Actually the mega quake has been predicted for years and your right there’s no knowing exactly when but there is signs such as the recent 7 magnitude earthquake they had and the increasing tremors along the plate lines that’s why it’s become big discussion now. It’s not like it will happen for definite but the current events means right now there’s an increased risk of them having one and the Japan gov put out the megaquake alert for 1 week since the 7 magnitude earthquake happened and that was only on the 13th because that’s when the biggest risk was and the
