i mean chinese kpop idols have their own niche that they have to compete within so yes they (hao included) often get resources as a result of like greater intl pull/fandom loyalty even if they're really nugu in china it's a natural advantage they have and their competition is mostly each other the problem is figuring out how to keep that kpop boost when they inevitably start to work in china full time hao is doing fine against other kpop idols and that's what matters for like this stage in his career yk no one expects him to be this huge cpop star it's just unrealistic
