tbh I've been thinking, magazine directors? probably focus more on artistic direction since they are artists in their own way so if one person always has to be in the center I can see them finding it constricting and even annoying but they know if they don't they'll get backlash from that sf, so I can see them just avoiding us tbh

I have met photographers and editors who don’t like to be told what to do or have their artistic or creative freedom / direction compromised so it’s not an absurd assumption to make that they back away from working with certain people if they know that’s going to be the case I don’t think they care so much about backlash from things as fans because if it’s not an actual controversial thing they have done it’s not going to ruin their reputation or anything in the industry but when people have a creative vision but it has restraints when carried out it can make them less enthusiastic or less willing to work with people. I’m not saying it’s the case here and I don’t think anyone should assume it’s the case either but it is something I’ve seen happen so I understand why anon might think that’s one of the reasons .
