Not to pity jiwoong here but that fan thinks theyre doing him a favor and justifies themselves by citing their care for him when really what they want is their own secondhand pain validated. So they're imposing onto him their rigid idea of vulnerability and see his lack of it as him doing himself (and them) a disservice, which is honestly pretty unempathetic. And theres something cynical about their read of the situation too they might not realize it but the fact that they are desperately wishing for him to prostrate himself for pity so both he and his fans could reap it together shows they see emotion as an opportunity for manipulation and vindication rather than something spontaneous and healing. and though they claim not to they absolutely do view people like gw or even other members who are emotionally forthcoming as manipulative as a way to cope with jiwoong's inability or unwillingness to be so in a way that validates them too.

I think Gyuvin is extremely codependent, on his company, on Yujin, on anyone. It’s moved past having a huge heart (which I do think he does don’t me wrong) but his attachment is just too severe to the point it’s unhealthy. But he’ll have to grow past it. There will be a breaking point for him (I speak as someone who was sorta like him a few years ago 😳😬) and he’ll have to adapt. It’s one of those things that are inevitable as you transition into your 20s. I truthfully am excited to see what’s he like in 10 years. If he’s able to tone it down but still keep the amount of care and adoration he has with people he’ll be one amazing human being. It’s just gonna be a rough ride to get there. I have no faith in Jiwoong tho.

The Gunwook hate drives me absolutely insane because all of it stems from one fucking thing: the Korean beauty standards. It isn’t his comments or behavior, and anything “attitude” related controversy is clearly bull. All the insults after they are finishing over analyzing any of his actions always go back to his looks. They hate that he doesn’t have a rhinoplasty-ed nose, that his head isn’t as small as a chihuahua, and that he isn’t super scrawny. It’s literally so stupid because he’s like very hot and handsome and probably more healthy than anyone else in the team besides maybe Matthew. And even outside of his looks, he has such an amazing personality. He clearly loves people, he isn’t immature, he’s dependable, reliable, actually can dance and sing and rap, he’s great at public speaking and is actually friendly. If he did even a tenth of what Gyuvin does he’d be killed. Or if he made the body shaming comments Hao or hanbin have done he’d be crucified. It’s probably one of the most unwarranted hate trains towards a male idol I’ve ever seen. He gets the most unwarranted hate out of all 5th Gen male idols and I mean it. It’s just so bizarre to watch play out and idc I’m willing to become a crazy ass akgae if it means calling out stupid comments from people against him.

Ok it's good the i-side is finally waking up to the hate train gw has been on the receiving end of since bp but also im already tired of the way they're talking about it oml.
